Google has launced a Person Finder that allows individuals to post messages and search for the status of family and friends affected by the disaster.If you're worried about someone, click on the button that says "I'm looking for someone" and type in their name.If you have information about someone in the area, or want to let others know you are safe click on the button " I have information about someone " and enter name and details.Typhoon Haiyan, also known as Typhoon Yolanda, was one of the strongest tropical cyclones ever recorded in the world history.It killed a total number of 6,300 people in the Philippines.




The typhoon is talked about on social networking sites and the storm became a trend world wide, dubbing that Typhoon Yolanda is one of the strongest typhoons in world history.Even finding people who is affected by the storm is easy with the internet. With just a few clicks away, you’ll know immediately what your loved ones are doing.Aside from the social media, Google offered a help to the Filipino people by allowing them to use their web application called Google Person Finder.Truly a wonderful and an educational article, not only to young people but to all concerned individuals. It can be very helpful, as well, especially during the times of crisis or disaster.


Google Person Finder has been activated for use following the deadly super typhoon Yolanda that devastated the Philippines including the Visayas regions and other nearby areas.
